Good luck Jorge, I’m sure it is not the last we will see of you, well I hope not anyway. Cheers.

With respect to the Facebook pages; one is a Closed Group, a discussion forum open to all members of the group which is really useful. (We can all post up, photos, vids and other club business, have a say, put in 2 pence worht, ideas, general club chat).
The other is like an “Official Site”, open to only Adminsistrators to post up. Useful for official Club announcements and the official line on club business / mainly offered by The Cub Chairman.
One thing to consider is that we have a lot of interest on the facebook pages and it would be great to encourage people to actually pull the wallet out, pay the sub and join the club and get out to ride with us!

I can’t make the AGM this year. Personally, I am not bothered about a name change at all. As soley a mountain biker at the time, this is what was the appeal of joining the club in the first place “MBC”. On the forum I was trying to make a suggestion based upon what I thought would attract most members (maximise membership) of which I was under the impression there was a big drive to do.

Hi Chris, thanks for organising, booking digs and generally sorting everything out as usual. Great trip and great trails. I would like to go back, how about venturing further up North next time? The trails and digs (Pods) at Glentress are superb so worth a re-visit. Let me know dates as if I book this off now, I can guarantee it.
PS thanks to Gosia for the Sweetie Challenge and ‘special’ present

I would be up for a Cannock Chase day trip on the 21st or 22nd of OCT. Weekend off, have not been there for a while.

Kasia and I would like to go this year. However, now it is my brother who is getting married (Not me btw!) on the 22nd of June. Can we squeeze this trip in after the first weekend (for Simon Slater) but before the 22nd please? It is definately June you are looking at I’m assuming?

Is this planned for the 9th of September. I have to book any event off work if I want to attend so I need confirmation first please?

Don’t forget Strava users the Club has a Strava account of which I am an administrator.

To get the ball rolling on a bit of marketing I’ve provisonally created this as a “Club Event” which can be promoted through Strava users. I have set it up for now for the 9th of September

My vote is for Gosia, without people helping out on club events they just wouldn’t happen.

Hats off to Allen ultimately who did a huge effort of 273km and about 4500m ascent! That is tough. Massive!…and well done to everyone who completed this hard challenge!
