Chris was thinking of riding an Off Road Sportive in Pas de Calais, Northern France.
The plan is to go on the Saturday, stay overnight, ride the event and then get the Eurotunnel/Ferry back on Sunday as it’s only about 45km from Calais.
There are 4 distances 15/30/45/60km and its only 6Euros to enter. Events aboard are usually very well organised and it’s make a chance to our usual riding locations.

We now have 7 people interested the club van takes 6 but Darren is willing to take his van but ideally need a fee more to make it viable to take 2 vehicles. So anyone else keen?chrisKeymasterFebruary 10, 2015 at 6:30 pmPost count: 13351

Last call for anyone interested in this ride-ferry for the weekend only works out at about £20 pp, 5 Euros to enter and one nights digs so will not be an expensive trip. Leaving mid dayish Sat back Sun late afternoon.chrisKeymasterMarch 3, 2015 at 11:43 pmPost count: 13351
So, Chris has dealt with the tunnel.
Now accommodation. Been having a look. Here are what I see as 2 good options:
A – closer to Condette, Le Regina Hotel (http://www.booking.com/hotel/fr/lereginahotel.en-gb.html?aid=356288;label=sppctrip-hotel-221463_xqdz-674d96d1834403241501775d55e6b8a3_pool-couk_slice-90001;sid=c6ec82ec7c152489dde015b201549a54;dcid=4;checkin=2015-03-07;checkout=2015-03-08). A little after Condette, 2.5 miles away, 2 double and 1 triple room, £196
B – Boulogne sur mer, Hotel Gens De Mer (http://www.booking.com/hotel/fr/les-gens-de-mer-boulogne.en-gb.html?aid=356288;label=sppctrip-hotel-221463_xqdz-674d96d1834403241501775d55e6b8a3_pool-couk_slice-90001;sid=c6ec82ec7c152489dde015b201549a54;dcid=4;checkin=2015-03-07;checkout=2015-03-08#map_closed). Right in the centre of town, 5.4 miles away (but closer to ferry), 2 double rooms and 1 triple again, £139
As you can see I am quite budget oriented. But how many of you snore???WayneCParticipantMarch 4, 2015 at 2:00 pmPost count: 1442
