I’ve posted up the GPX routes in the Facebook group file area, there are 2 routes. Both are the same except for the end. One goes via the coast the other via the South Downs Way, the later does have some extra climbing onto the downs, but the views are fantastic and from the pub on the top of devils dike, it’s all DH into Brighton. Both routes finish by the pier if we split.
The plan is to leave the Malt Shovel, Iver Lane at 9.30. For anybody who wants to join on route, I’d say meet at Staines Bridge (10am) or Chertsey Fire Station (10.30am), but let me know we know to wait, or let you know we’re running late.
Newlands Corner (cafe) is at about 50km (30miles) which might be a quick tea stop/loo break/fill bottles.
The Bax Castle near Shorsham is about halfway along the downs link and might be a good refreshment/lunch stop (other pubs are available on route
