Would be great to see a huge contingent of WDMBC on the day…and don’t forget, if you cant ride, perhaps you can help on the day.

Just waiting to confirm details but the following week there is going be an MTB race at Black Park, so the Bucks Road Sportive will give us a good indication to see who has been getting in the winter training.

So far well over 50 pre entries and no dobt a lot of people are waiting for the weather before deciding and are likely to enter on the day
I need two volunteers to help me mark the course out late on the Sat afternnon, we normally stop for something to eat near tothe finish and if anyne wanst a free meal time to volunteer ,The plan is to drive round with people only riding between the splits on the short route

We have pre ridden all the routes there are some hard hills , Bedlow, Chipps Hill and Winter Hill, a few potholes but nothing to bad, hopefully the wind on the day will be in our favour as last time we rode out it seemed to be a head wind nearly all the way around.
I need one more volunteer to assist me and BMF mark the course out late on the Sat afternnon, we normally stop for something to eat near to the finish and if anyne wants a free meal time to volunteer ,The plan is to drive round with people only riding between the splits on the short route.

The course is up on the clubs Garmin Page, if someone more techinaclly minded than me can send me a link to the course that I can send out to those that have pre-entered that would be great.
Cheers Chris
Chris I’ll give you and BMF a hand to mark out late Sat 21st afternoon.
Cheers Matt.Rode the 80km route of the BRS yesterday. Incredible how much it feels like being in the heart of the countryside, especially around Piddington, Braddenham (sounds like a 1980s U.S. cop show) and Speen. Mind you, it’s a tough day in the (mobile) office…..especially when my left crank dropped of going up the Mur de Chipps Hill..!!
What’s happening in terms of registration on sunday? Would an extra pair of hands be useful? I don’t have a road bike at the moment so not doing the ride, but can come in for the morning.
I will be there from 7:30 Jorge any time after that would be great.
cheers Chris
remember entry on the day available
