Default Bordon Enduro

After the success of the Southern XC race at Bordon where everyione raved abut the course we are looking at promoting an Enduro event at the same venue, the format is likely to be fun 2 lap event, a 2hr solo or pairs event and a 4 hour solo/pairs.

Just checking on the availability of the cct and have requested the 1st Nov so watch ths space for updates

Hopefully it won't clash with the Thetford series which is obviously well established now. No sign of Winter Series 2009 dates yet on their site yet. I think it usually starts the 2nd weekend in November (based on what is on the Timelaps website).

Sounds like a great idea! I might need to save some breath from the next day though, I will have rather too much blowing out of candles to do, but at least I'll have earned my cake!

Ok the 1st Nov looks good with the military and we are in the process of booking it , reckon we can get a 7-8 mile lap which will incorporate most of this years SXC cct.

The format is likely to be
9:45 kids u/12,s and U/10s on a special short cct
then 10:30 2 lap fun race, 2hr solo and pairs women/men and mixed and a similar 4hr format which should just about leave time to present the prizes and clear up before its dark

Once we have the definitve ok from the military we will be loooking at sorting out an entry form . If anyone knows any sponsors or companies that wish to advertise on the entry form, as we will be dishing out well over a thousand of them prior to the entry and the race will be getting lots of publicity on the website it is a GREAT opportunity for some cheap publicity.

So get in touch if your interested

The 1st Nov is now confirmed with the land owners at the mo we are looking at a 7-8 mile lap which will incorporate most of this years SXC cct.

The format is likely to be

9:30 A quirky bike race around a small cct , any non standard bike allowed, Heffs double decker, tandems, unicycles and mini bikes
9:45 kids u/12,s and U/10s on a special short cct
then 10:30 2 lap fun race, 2hr solo and pairs women/men and mixed and a similar 4hr format which should just about leave time to present the prizes and clear up before its dark

Now what we need is some great prizes to attract a large field anyone out there who knows anyone in the bike trade or anyone who wants some great publicity.

So get in touch if your interested

cheers chris@westdraytonmbc.co.uk
