Default Stolen Bike

Hope you and WDMBC may be able to help. Some swine broke into our property last week and stole my Cannondale Jekyll 1000. If you could ask your members to keep an eye out around the trails of London / Surrey then that would be much appreciated. There is a £100 reward for it's successful return

Distinguishing Details of the bike:

Cannondale Jekyll 1000 c.2003/4 - Size: Large

Peppermint Green (very few around in this colour - not many people have such bad taste)

Frame has reasonable sized dink in top tube

Black Lefty fork with green detailing

Mostly LX finishing kit

Maxxis High Roller front tyre

SDG Saddle

Specialized Handlebar Grips (pretty worn)

Lots of play in rear wheel

Any leads please call me on 077389 81018

Alas another bike stolen any help in tracking it down would be great

Hi Chris,

I'm writing to you because I was recently the victim of a theft - my bike (Kona Unit 2-9) - and due to the rarity of the bike I was hoping that by raising awareness amongst fellow cyclists people may be able to keep an eye out for it.
Because it is a fairly specialist bike, a single-speed mountain bike that is a "29er" (with 700cc rims), I'm hopeful that the a few alarm bells may ring if people know of it.

Description:

- make: Kona and model: Unit 2-9.

- fully rigid frame (no suspension)

- single speed (only one gear)

- disc brakes

- black frame with red & yellow graphic

- wheels are bigger than normal mountain bike (700cc rims).

I have attached a picture so hopefully you can help me out.

If anyone has any information/sightings I would very much appreciate hearing about it.
