This weekend saw some great racing at the clubs promotion at Bordon, only one win for the team, well done Dianne and a slight lack of racers representing the club was a shame but there was still 350 riders taking part. This was down on last year but July is always packed so not unexpected, hopefully once we have counted up there will be a bit of extra cash in the clubs coffers.A quick thank you to everyone who helped out in any way with the organisation especially those down at the venue Sat, clearing the course, John H , Richard, Andy, Steve, Colin, Karen, Frances, Theo, Chris and Jackie as well as Phils clan also big thanks to Jackie for sorting the prizes out on Sunday.

Full results can be found on the time laps website , well done to all those that took part especially Dianne who won and Michael Thyer, Karen S and Jackie R taking podium spots, hopefully at our enduro on the 24th October at the same venue we will have a better turnout and even more success.

As well as the success at the club race Paul Crook notched up his 3rd road win in 3 weeks when he won the Oakley event, pretty impressive stuff.

As usual there was also a number of social rides over the week, looking ahead to this week, Wed night there is a social ride from the Swan and Bottle PH, Uxbridge meeting at 6:45 p.m. for the racers it is the National championships at Pippingford so good luck to those that have entered this.Sunday there is a club MTB trip to Cannock chase for the social riders, check out the forum for full details, all standards are welcome and lifts can be arranged, no doubt there will also be a local ride so watch the club site for details.

July 23/24th 12//24hr There are a few teams that require riders for teams at the 12/24 so check out the forums if you fancy having a go, I know Adrian P is looking for a fastish team, one lady is required for fun womens team, also there is a pairs 12hr entry available and maybe a solo 12hr entry available, post up if interested.

August 20th French day trip -Suitable for all , Being a Friday hopefully people can get the day off easier than a mid week date, the plan is as always to drive down to Dover go over as foot passengers spend a very relaxed day in the Calais area riding along the coast on mostly off road trails -nothing to technical before a late evening return to Blightly- post up if interested.

Oct 1st-5th Oct Scottish trip, looking at leaving either Fri p.m. 1st Oct or sat early a.m. 2 Oct to ride as many of the trails around the Glentress area with the idea of coming back Tuesday the 5th, fulll l details are on the forum and if I get som e time going to be looking at bookingthis up so make sure you have confirmed your interest if you fancy it.
