We start off the cub news with congratulating those that rode in the Brass Monkeys series and especially Sam Edwards the winner of the 4hr event, with Nick Try 11th, in the 2hr vets class, Paul White was an excellent 4th with Will Blackham 37th, in the 3hr Grand vets race, Rick Featherston was 2nd with Jesse Kelly 11th, so a big well done to all who raced in what were far from ideal conditions. On the cross front I am still awaiting results but hopefully next week we can report on those.

The voting for the club person and club racer of the month for December has now finished, the winners being Jorge Manso for his constant Twitter feeds and Rick for his his excellent win in the 1st round of the Brass Monkeys series. Both will need to get in touch with me to pick up their awards.

As it is the new year not only is it time for club members to sign up and pay for their membership for the year it is also the time we get the donations from our generous sponsors, so a very big thanks to Matt from M Property solutions for his kind donation, the first sponsor to pay, we are aiming to update the club van this year so we need to get some money in to be able and it is contributions from our sponsors which will assist in this. If anyone is looking for building work to be done I can personally recommend M Property solutions as can a number of others from the club so get in touch with Matt to discuss any ideas/plans.
